Barn Builders: Help build your local startup

by Jonas Lamis on October 26, 2009

Barn Builders has recently been launched in Austin as a free service to match area entrepreneurs with energetic unemployed or underemployed business and technical talent, through intentional and targeted networking opportunities that produce tangible results. The idea is that many people have been laid off, and many of them are scrambling for jobs that they are not finding. The program matches startups with pro-bono experts who volunteer 5-10 hours per week to help the startup.

Entrepreneurs: Do you need a website designed? An application developed? Requirements written for an RFP? Whatever you need, join the Barn Builder network to find the right people who can help you progress to the next step in your venture.

Jonas Lamis and Austin Gunter from Tech Ranch discuss the program in this video.
