Atlanta CEO Council Chooses The Ron Clark Academy for 10th Anniversary Fundraiser

The Atlanta CEO Council recently announced The Ron Clark Academy as the recipient of its first community fundraising effort in celebration of its 10th anniversary. Replacing the regular December networking event, the Council will hold this event on December 7, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at The Ron Clark Academy, 228 Margaret Street, Atlanta, GA 30315 for food, drink, entertainment and networking. While attendance at Atlanta CEO Council events is free, attendance at this special event requires a minimum donation of $50 per person and it is tax deductible. This special event for Council members and invited guests including Council members, alumni, sponsors and top Atlanta companies to acknowledge a decade of leadership by Ron Clark and his team, and to continue the legacy of community investment in such a wonderful school, The Ron Clark Academy. Donations will provide students with as books, uniforms, supplies, technology, tuition and much more.

About Ron Clark and The Ron Clark Academy

Ron Clark Academy is a private, SACS/CASI accredited, nonprofit middle school in Southeast Atlanta that and inspires empowers its students through energetic teaching balanced by a strict code of discipline. Each year, 3,000 educators from around the world visit the Academy to learn how to replicate the school’s style, philosophy and success in their own classrooms. The Academy currently relies on outside funding to provide scholarships to students from varying academic backgrounds.

Here’s what your contribution will purchase for The Ron Clark Academy:

$50 – After school enrichment classes for a student for one academic quarter

$100 – Fee for a US Passport for one student

$250 – School supplies for one student for the entire school year

$500 – Uniforms for one student for the school year

$1,000 – Breakfast and lunch for one student for the school year

$2,500 – Classroom supplies for a teacher
